The following is what I'm getting:
module mymodule()
{
}
mymodule();
That last line shouldn't be there, it will cause the module to always be executed, which is not the desired behavior, or what OpenSCAD does. If you look in the Graphscad directory you will see an Openscad executable (you may have to 'chmod +x'). That is the one Graphscad uses, so you need to have the Graphscad installation directory in your path. When I start Graphscad (Windows), it opens an instance of Openscad (the one in it's installation directory). The normal Openscad isn't used, although the libraries can be used. Check which version of Openscad is open when using Graphscad, it should be 2017.01.20. Hope this helps.Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15639075702513419596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3131159221003537757.post-58726209234832095522019-02-08T06:18:55.545-08:002019-02-08T06:18:55.545-08:00Hello, I too have just discovered graphscad. They both work independently but not together. The openscad icon in graphscad produces no result with openscad. Apparently graphscad can't link to openscad. Have reinstalled both several times but no joy. Is it possible that this is a permission or directory problem. I have certinaly missed something along the way. Would very much appreciate any words of wisdom on this issue. I'm using this on Windows,so there are some changes to the 'node' functionally I've made. For me personally, using this tool allows me to concentrate more on the design I'm working on, rather than the OpenSCAD syntax. As a result I spend less time designing, and more time 3D printing my design. Making changes is also faster. All in all, a very useful tool addition. Thank you for your effort.
